Feeling Great!

Today I did the 50 minute SHAKEOLOGY workout. It was awesome! There are two workouts that come with Shakeology, the 30 and the 50. The 50 was a great all around workout combining upper body, lower body and plenty of core exercises.

I am feeling great! I went to the library and found a couple of healthy cook books, for some clean eating meal planning. I love cookbooks with pictures! The more pictures the better. *LOL*

I have definitely noticed a huge improvement in my food cravings and eating patterns since starting Shakeology and the P90X protein bars. I haven't been craving junk like taco bell or panda express anymore. The only problem I'm having is that my son likes to steal my protein bars! So I have to give him small pieces or eat them in the pantry so he doesn't see me. HAHA

He's a chocolate lover, so he also loves to steal my shakeology drinks too. I usually pour him a little bit in his own cup.

Oh, I also tried the P90X Results and Recovery drink. I blended it with ice, it's really tasty, almost like an orange julius!

I am amazed that these products taste so good. I've tried tons of other brands that I won't mention... protein drinks, weight loss shakes, protein bars. I drank/ate them because they were healthy, but I never enjoyed them. They either tasted like chalk, cardboard or had weird textures.

Beachbody really does a good job of making healthy products that taste great!!!

142!

Wow, I stepped on the scale this morning, 142! I can't believe it! I had to get back on the scale just to make sure I was reading it correctly.

Those ChaLEAN Extreme workouts, P90X protein bars, and Shakeology are really working! I love it!

ONLY 7 more pounds to lose to reach my goal of 135!

Mesa Fit Club!

I have been busy getting my new group, Mesa Fit Club, ready. Last night was our first meetup. It was great! We did the Burn It Off workout from ChaLEAN Extreme.

Coincidentally, we also did the same workout on Tuesday at Mesa Mom's Fit Club that I go to. This is a really good workout for your inner thighs, and really gets your heart rate up there. I love it!

I also walked 6 miles on Monday. I've been working out all week, I just haven't been on a good schedule. I need to plan when I am starting ChaLEAN Extreme.

ChaLEAN Extreme!

I just got my new workout program ChaLEAN Extreme, it looks awesome! The first workout is weights and resistance with a lot of muscle exhaustion. The doctor said I have bronchitis, so I am still not working out, but I plan on starting ChaLEAN on monday. I've decided to do at least 30 days of the ChaLEAN before I start P90X again, since I've had a cold for so long.

I also got P90X protein bars. So far I've tried wildberry yogurt and chocolate fudge. They are both really good! They each have 20 grams of protein!!

Insanity!

Ok so trying to do Insanity Fast & Furious workout today was a bad idea. I really wanted to try out Insanity, so I thought I would do it even though my nose is exploding and I'm hacking up gunk... My mind said yes, but after 2 minutes my body said NO, NO, NO!!!

That is an awesome workout! I can't wait to try it again when I get rid of this cold!

Another Cold!

Getting back on track isn't work, my son has shared another cold with me and I never fully recovered from the last one! I want to workout! I want to walk, but I feel like someone hit me in the head with a baseball bat.

On top of my own cold, my son is getting his tonsils out tomorrow. Tuesday my little horse is getting gelded (if you don't know what that means, then you probably don't want to know).

I have a busy week ahead of me taking care of my sick kiddo and preparing for my new Mesa Fit Club that launches on February 16th!
